About Congress

2025 Asia Pacific Congress on Public Health is a regional conference, which presents a regional and multidisciplinary perspective on public health issues. WFPHA member associations in the Asia Pacific region can contribute to discussions on the broad range of public health issues and exchange ideas, knowledge and information on the latest developments in public health. The Congress was first established in 2009 with the strong support of WFPHA. And six APCPHs have been successfully organized in Beijing, Japan, Bali, Nha Trang, Seoul and Thailand, respectively.

The theme of the APCPH drafted to be “Addressing Diverse Challenges, Building a Healthy Asia-Pacific: Equity, Resilience, lnnovation”, which coincides with a critical juncture for our world – to cite an example- the COVID-19 pandemic had been a wake-up call for public health security in the past three years, and the vulnerabilities and deficiencies of national and regional public health systems are becoming apparent and magnified. How to carry out multi-disease prevention and control to jointly build a line of defense for life and health will be a common global issue for a long time. Since we CPMA operates WFPHA Asia Pacific Regional Liaison Office, we hope to further contribute to regional public health exchange and cooperation, solidarity with public health organizations in the Asia-Pacific region for the realization of the concept of “Building a Global Community of Health for All”.
